Dirt Time ~ Daily Independent Reading Time

I read Diary of a Worm during DIRT Time. I also read Diary of a Spider, and Diary of a Fly. There were lots of characters in these stories! My favorite one was the Diary of a Fly. I liked it because it was funny. I enjoyed it when the babysitter brought a frog and every single fly was on the apple core. (They were all scared)Posted by Picasa

Writing Workshop ~ Author's Chair

I was sharing my story to the whole classroom. It was about coming to third grade. I was so excited for school that I woke up at three in the morning. I was nervous because I was going to be in a different classroom. I was used to being in second grade.
What surprised me was the classroom was so big, it had allot of desks, and the teacher was really nice. In Science, we are studying about volcanoes.

Nicholas Passage

October 18

A beautiful fall day. The temperature was 68 degrees. You could hear the whales breathe in the distance. (I had a zoom lense)
